Exobiosphere Selected for the Seventh Edition of the CASSINI Business Accelerator
Luxembourg - Exobiosphere has been selected to join the seventh edition of the CASSINI Business Accelerator. The six-month programme runs from May 1 to October 31, 2026, and is implemented on behalf of the European Commission and the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). With around 20 companies selected per batch from a Europe-wide open call, it is the largest space startup accelerator on the continent.
The programme provides tailored business development coaching, one-on-one mentoring, investor access through matchmaking and Demo Day events, and an international business trip to develop new market opportunities. Companies that successfully complete the programme receive an equity-free €75,000 voucher.
“Being selected for the CASSINI Business Accelerator is an important milestone for Exobiosphere as we continue scaling our commercial activities and expanding the market reach of our microgravity-enabled drug discovery platform,” said Kyle Acierno, CEO of Exobiosphere. “The programme offers a strong combination of mentoring, customer access, fundraising support, and international exposure that will help us accelerate our growth across Europe and beyond.”
This selection comes on the back of several major developments for Exobiosphere: a €1.4 million collaborative research project (Gravity-AI) with the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) at the University of Luxembourg, to develop predictive AI models for neurodegeneration; a €200K contract with the European Space Agency under its Bioengineering in the Space Environment challenge; and the $1 million investment win on Meet the Drapers, a global startup investment competition.
