Role Overview
We are seeking a Market Research Analyst with a strong background in life sciences, healthcare, or medical technology to help validate the market opportunity for our next-generation high-throughput devices. In this role, you will conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to guide our product design, positioning, and commercialization strategy.

Responsibilities
Market Sizing & Analysis: Define total addressable market (TAM), serviceable market segments, and key trends affecting adoption.
Customer Discovery: Design and conduct structured interviews, surveys, and focus groups with researchers, clinicians, and lab decision-makers.
Competitive Intelligence: Map competitors, benchmark their features and pricing, and identify differentiation opportunities.
Insight Generation: Translate research findings into clear reports, dashboards, and executive-level recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and leadership to inform feature prioritization, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
Industry & Regulatory Monitoring: Track market trends, reimbursement considerations, and relevant regulations that may impact market entry.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
3+ years of professional experience in market research, business analysis, or product strategy within the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences industry.
Demonstrated ability to conduct both quantitative (market sizing, data modeling) and qualitative (customer interviews, focus groups) research.
Excellent data analysis and presentation skills — able to translate complex insights into actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with market research databases, competitive intelligence tools, and CRM or product management software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting early-stage product development, particularly for research or medical devices.
Knowledge of regulatory pathways (FDA, CE marking) and purchasing processes for lab equipment and clinical devices.
Experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced startup or innovation-driven environment.
