Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our interdisciplinary team designing intuitive, reliable, and visually compelling user interfaces for our next-generation high-throughput platforms. You will play a key role in creating software that allows scientists, and engineers to interact seamlessly with complex biological and analytical workflows.

Responsibilities
UI Development: Build responsive, high-performance web applications to control, monitor, and visualize data from research and medical devices.
Collaborate with UX/UI Designers: Translate wireframes, mockups, and user workflows into pixel-perfect, production-ready code.
Integration with Backend Systems: Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between front-end and device firmware.
Testing & Validation: Write unit and integration tests; participate in design verification activities per medical device software development standards (e.g., IEC 62304).
Performance & Reliability: Ensure consistent cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and fast response times under real-world conditions.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Contribute to documentation and adhere to design controls, coding standards, and secure development practices for regulated environments.
Requirements
Proven professional experience (5+ years) in front-end development for production software.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or other modern frameworks like Vue/Angular), HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility (WCAG/Section 508).
Comfort working in Agile or iterative development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with medical device or research instrumentation software development.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
Familiarity with real-time data visualization (charts, dashboards).
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for healthcare and research data.
