Who we are

This website is run by Exobiosphere S.à r.l., 29, rue Henri Koch, L-4354 Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, RCS B289021, together with its group company Exobiosphere, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its registered office at 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901, and offices at 611 Catalina, Building 307C, Los Angeles, CA 90005, United States ("Exobiosphere", "we").

Exobiosphere S.à r.l. is the controller of personal data collected through this website and of our business relationships in Europe. Exobiosphere Inc. is the controller of personal data of the customers, partners, suppliers and investors it deals with directly. What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you contact us through the contact form or by email, we use your name, email, company and message to reply to your enquiry and follow up. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep this data for 3 years after last contact.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we use your email address to send news about Exobiosphere. We rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and keep your address until you unsubscribe.

Server logs. When you visit the website, our servers record your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, for the security and operation of the website. We rely on our legitimate interest in a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep these logs for 30 days.

Usage statistics. With your consent, given in the cookie banner, we use Squarespace Analytics, the statistics tool built into our website platform, to understand how the website is used. We keep this data for 13 months.

Business contacts. We use the business contact details of partners, suppliers and investors to manage the business relationship, on the basis of a contract or our legitimate interest. We keep them for the length of the relationship, then as required by law.

Who receives your data

We share your data only with our staff who need it and with service providers (hosting, network security, email, newsletter and analytics) acting on our instructions

We share data between Exobiosphere S.à r.l. and Exobiosphere Inc. where needed to handle your enquiry or business relationship, and with authorities or advisers where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers and Exobiosphere Inc. are in the United States. We transfer data only to recipients certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the website. We use other cookies only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

•     give you access to your data and a copy of it

•     correct inaccurate data

•     delete your data

•     restrict how we use it

•     send your data to you or another organisation (portability)

You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect earlier processing.

Complaints

You can complain to a data protection authority, in Luxembourg the CNPD (www.cnpd.lu).
